I want to contribute to making the Movement a unitary and united reality, not only in regard to operational and advocacy activities but also regarding the perception of the world public opinion. Further, I wish to contribute to reinforcing the Movement as a critical conscience of the world, listened to and respected by governments and by Civil Society due to its credibility and moral authority.

... and internationally, within the Movement?
I’m the Chairman of the International Federation’s Development Commission since 2005; I chaired the same commission already in the 80’s a 1st time. Further I’ve been
• Vice President for Europe in the International Federation, 2004-2005
• President of ERNA – European RCRC Network on HIV/AIDS, 1998-2003
• in several positions in health related activities within the Federation and
• Chairman of the Youth Commission of the Federation, 1973 – 1981.
Your experience outside the Movement?
