| The Council (CoD), the highest deliberative body internal to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement will this year meet for the first time ever in Africa, in Nairobi this coming November. The Council follows immediately after the general Assembly of the International Federation.
All 186 National RCRC Societies are expected to participate, along with the delegations from the ICRC and the International Federation.
Here is the convocation issued by the Standing Commission of the Red Cross and Red Crescent along with the draft provisional and annotated agenda.
National Societies are invited to comment on the agenda by September 15, 2009, addressed to the Standing Commission.
